Configuration Specialist
We are looking for a Configuration Specialist who ensures smooth, compliant platform changes from triage to release. You'll own end-to-end delivery with a focus on quality, clarity, and efficiency.
Once For All is a high-growth, cloud-based, SaaS subscription business. Our technology helps our customers to manage their supply chain governance, risk management and compliance. We work across public and private sector and have over 250k customers across the UK across 20 different sectors including construction, transport, retail, hospitality education, facility and property management, manufacturing, local and central government.
Role Summary:
A multi skilled role supporting the delivery and maintenance of platform configurations that meet business, regulatory, and customer needs.
This role will operate across the end-to-end lifecycle of a configuration change, from triage to release management, ensuring quality, communication, and efficiency is upheld to the highest standards.
Job Responsibilities:
- Engage with customers, internal stakeholders and SMEs to understand compliance needs, interpret, analyse and build solutions to meet those needs.
- Review configuration change requests for feasibility, completeness, and alignment with standards.
- Support Root Cause Analysis and resolution of configuration issues.
- Interpret technical and process requirements into executable configuration actions.
- Confidently question decisions to arrive at suitable outcomes for all stakeholders.
- Analyse the impacts of change and roll-out strategies.
- Maintain detailed end-to-end visibility of requests and expertly manage stakeholder communication and expectations.
- Analyse compliance questionnaires and provide feedback to the business and/or customer for potential improvements
- Design high quality prototypes & technical specifications for configuration solutions, in line with Group standards & processes.
- Configure design specifications into the required platform environments using appropriate tooling.
- Perform peer-review quality control checks to ensure high-levels of quality and accuracy.
- Ensure that all activities are carried out and documented in line with Group standards & processes.
- Assist with data reporting and deployment activities as necessary to support the roll-out of configuration changes.
- Assist in analysing configuration usage data to inform improvement decisions.
- Ensure all activities are undertaken within the scope of the business’s ISO accreditations.
- Any additional duties that may be required for the successful delivery of the role.
Candidate Requirements:
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured processes.
- Excellent organisational and documentation skills.
- Ability to interpret requirements and translate them into logical solutions.
- Collaborative mindset and strong communication skills.
- 2+ years’ experience in construction compliance.
- 2+ years’ experience in customer service, success, or management.
- Proven experience in project delivery.
- Proven experience in compliance questionnaire creation, review, or improvement.
Knowledge, Skills, Experience and Qualifications:
- Proven experience working with digital platforms, systems configuration, or content delivery.
- Understanding of content design principles.
- Microsoft Excel competency.
- Proven experience in change control / change management.
- Proven experience with digital platforms and configuration.
- Proven experience in project management.
