Role Summary:
The Telesales Manager plays a pivotal role in driving the success of the telesales team by developing strategies, coaching staff, and optimising processes to meet and exceed sales targets. This position involves overseeing daily operations, analysing performance metrics, and ensuring a high standard of customer interaction. The Telesales Manager collaborates with senior management to align sales efforts with the organization’s overall goals and objectives.
Job Responsibilities:
Team Leadership:
- Recruit, train, and mentor sales team to build a high-performing team.
- Foster a positive and motivated work environment to drive engagement and productivity.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
Sales Strategy and Execution:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve business objectives.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of sales campaigns and initiatives.
- Set and track performance metrics, including sales quotas, call handling times, and customer satisfaction scores.
Operations Management:
- Manage daily operations of the telesales team, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Optimize workflows and call scripts to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Resolve escalated customer complaints or issues.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Analyse sales data and team performance to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Prepare regular reports for senior management on sales outcomes and recommendations.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with marketing and product teams to align campaigns and promotions.
- Provide input into product or service improvements based on customer feedback.
Knowledge, Skills, Experience and Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Telesales Manager for 3 or more years or in a similar role.
- Strong track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Experience in managing and motivating teams to achieve high performance.
- Excellent leadership and team-building skills.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Saleforce CRM software and MS Office Suite.
- Results-driven and goal-oriented mindset.
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
- High level of customer focus and commitment to quality.
